emerg logger: Re-starting tmm

Hi, we´ve two Viprion 2400 with Bl2100 with two guest inside of each Viprion.

One of this guests is in the BIG-IP 11.3.0 Build 2806.0 Final.

The configuration is in active-passive mode.

Sometimes, machines which are in the vlans of the Guest I´ve explained before, lose their default gateway, which is the mentioned Guest. There are generating cores and we´ve seen that message "emerg logger: Re-starting tmm" at the hours in what we see the loss of service.

Do you know what can be happening and how can we do to solve the solution?

Thanks a lot

Best Regards

  • Hi Comunicaciones,

I strongly recommend to open a F5 support case. The F5's engineers are very quick in analysing your core files and providing workarounds/fixes. It could also be the case that newer TMOS versions are already solving your specific problem?

    Cheers, Kai

  • I suggest you to upgrade to last Hotfix of 11.3. If you still have the issue, open a case with a qkview, the tmm core file (are contained in the qkview btw) and do not forget (prior to delete any core file) to generate a md5 (command "md5sum") of them. F5 support needs the md5 info too, otherwise PD won't take them into consideration.
