DOS protection by informing the ISP to redirect traffic

Hi;   Can the ASM provide DOS protection by notifying the ISP that the WAN link is overwhelmed or flooded so that the ISP can manage the traffic by diverting the malicious traffic away from the WA...

Wasfi, F5s new Silverline ASM solution would be an alternative to Arbor's solution. I'm not fully aware of all the feature set but worth taking a look.
