Doesnt accept Vlan Name

Hello , When I try to add Vlan with name ABCD it rejects and say it exists and gives below error 01070712:3: Caught configuration exception (0), vlan VLAN_ABCD~2 ioctl failed: File exists - routing.cpp, line 401

 

, when i add AB_CD it works but at next level when I try to add Self Ip address it gives error again which is below , if any one can advise 01070712:3 cought configratin exception (0) ioctl faailed no such device -routing.cpp, line 332

  • It seems either parameter which you are trying to configure is already existing or otherwise there should be a bug in the system.

     

    Please let us know what version you are running and share the output of "list net vlan" and "list net self".

  • I know this is an old thread, but as I was looking for an answer for myself with exact same problem, I could not find a final resolution anywhere.

     

    In may case, I was trying to recreate the vlan after deleting all the self ip and routes and vlan itself from LTM to resolve an issue where LTM could not ping the gateway on that specific vlan thus causing nodes/pool/VIP to be marked as down and what fixed it was a reboot of the device !
