Does the iRule editor work with SSH tunnels?
I'm trying to access a BIG-IP behind a firewall.
I am successfully able to set up an SSH tunnel through the firewall with Putty. I can access the management port GUI via my local forwarded port (say, 127.1:4444) but the iRule Editor keeps saying 'Invalid Connection Information'.

I've tested it and it works (sort of). It seems that the iRule editor doesn't like running on any port other than 443, while you can change the port number in the connection part, it doesn't work.
doing an ssh tunnel on 443 worked fine though.
Ok, sounds like a new feature request. I just finished some patches so it might be a good time to hit this. I believe I originally forced either :80 or :443 in the underlying url string used for the SOAP requests. I'll have to verify this...
