Does F5 have special mode just for show command?

Hi, in F5 command line, unlike Cisco etc devices, F5 does not have a mode where we can use show command exclusively. That means we use show commands and do configuration under the same configuration ...

    F5 doesn't have config mode like cisco.. only option to give permission based on category(admin, guest,etc)

BIG-IP does not have different modes. The ability to view/create/delete/modify the config is based on the "user role" assigned to the user account used to login. There is a user role named "guest" which has read-only access to the config. This is as close as you can get to a "show mode" on BIG-IP.
