Does config get copied on Hotfix install?

I have searched the AskF5 and DevCentral and I am having a hard time finding a definitive answer. In 11.1 does the config get copied to the other volume when a hotfix is applied? Or does the config only get copied when you do a full image install on the other volume?

    Hi Joe,

     

    Your question is a bit confusing can you re-write it again... what I am understanding is that you have two volumes both running ver11.1 and on the second volume which already has ver 11.1 you want to apply the new hot-fix and want to know if you boot into that volume will the configuration be available there or not. If this is your question then yes the configuration will be available in that new volume after the hot-fix is applied.
