Feb 28, 2008does anyone have a working mrtg monitoring config?
Any mrtg would be nice. I notice in my quest for OID's there's quite a few people looking on how to do it. It would be nice if we compile them to save time.

Oh I have to use :::::2 I'm using a very old version of mrtg. If I don't specifiy the version, it will shoot out some errors. - JRahm

How about Cacti, which uses Tobi Oetiker's RRDTOOL and generates MRTG-like graphs?

I have those configuration files working for monitoring LTM 8800 systems with MRTG (old MRTG version). For Virtual Server Usage I use a simple perl script to build the configuration file using snmp queries. - milo

Your sample mrtg config for monitoring VIPs almost works for me. The config file looks fine.

However, when I run the file, it errors out.

If I try replacing SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises with the F5 numerical values, I still get an error.
