Mar 24, 2015I would recommend not connecting to a floating IP but rather a local-only self IP. Also, you should check you port lock down settings.

Port lock down in BigIP ? BigIp is not yet licensed I am trying to license it from BigIQ using pool license. Its a openstack setup and my BigIQ is there in the other network, only way BigIQ can reach BigIP is through floating IP. Is there a way to connect to BigIP from static IP ? - Brad_ParkerMar 24, 2015

You need to discover(connect) a BigIP device using a local only self-ip on the device, not the management interface. You also need to ensure that port lock down is configured to allow 443 and 22 at a minimum. - b_136889Mar 24, 2015

For this do I need to add the openstack connector or something ?
