If you are asking about platforms, F includes a FIPS card (http://csrc.nist.gov/publications/fips/fips140-2/fips1402.pdf), N is NEBS Compliant (), and V varies. If you have questions about a specific platform, ask your sales engineer as these are not set in stone. Some models are designated NEBS or FIPS after their number designation, for instance.
