difference between 5050s and 5250V in terms of hardware.

Hi, I have a question on F5 5000 series. are they different in terms of hardware? particularly 5050s and 5250V, because I saw a box which had 5050s written on it but the licenses showed 5250V. it is a bit awkward. any idea?

Majzoub,

The platform would be of c109. Its the license that matters. So if you have license of 5250V, it works as 5250 on the platform c109.
