Did re-activate license middle of day interrupts traffic?

I was planing to install 

hotfix
and found f5 article related doing 
Re-activate
license is good before installing anything. but also i found following like.

Impact of procedure: The license reactivation process may reload the configuration and temporarily interrupt traffic processing.

    I would heed that advice and only perform this task in a maintenance window. I wouldn't risk the configuration failing to re-load.

     

    The reason to re-activate the license is to update the service check date and is more usually required when upgrading to a later version. Not strictly needed for a hotfix upgrade IMHO.
