Friends,
Would like to know what is common mode of deployment when it comes to F5 LTM. Is there something like switched,routed,one arm, dual arm modes of operation since in many cases the LTM sits off path. (interfaces connected to the LAN switches)?

There are a multitude of options. Perhaps if you can give us an understanding of your requirements we can narrow down your choices. Personally my preference is for routed and inline.

I am just curious to know the deployment modes and their terminology. Can you reference me to any good documentation explaining the types of deployment? Few deployments that i've seen has the LTM connect to the LAN switch off path and the LTM has self IPs and VLANs.- What_Lies_Bene1
