additionaly after reading all articles on dev central and askF5 and Cisco website, I found the below to be the most useful:

Do I simply SNAT the traffic to introduce the redundancy? If so that takes care of the second issue but the issue about ConfigSync and HA pairing remains.

 

Probably worth letting you know that I am somewhat of a newb to both Cisco and F5.
