Can we disable/Greyed out/Restricted "Default Monitor settings' for Nodes

    Hi Kai,

     

    I have lots of VIP/Applications hosted on my f5 LTM. I am using Gateway_ICMP as a default Node monitor setting. Sometimes, Sombody is making changes on this setting (E.g Changing default monitoring from ICMP to HTTP) and resulting multiple application in down sate. Which is causing production down situation.

     

    So I want to restricted that option, so that nobody can make this change.

    Hi Abhishek,

     

    unfortunately you can not restrict the usage of this option.

     

    I would recommend to find out the person who is changing this "global" setting and then enforce some organisational actions.
