Mar 12, 2013Default behavior with server-compressed HTTP?
If I've got a server doing HTTP compression for traffic running through an LTM, does the LTM (rev 10) decompress (and then either recompress or pass the uncompressed traffic) the compressed HTTP traffic for standard servers by default?
Thanks!

Since HTTP compression on the server prevents the BIG-IP system from reading the data stream and performing the intended replacement, you may need to configure the HTTP profile to remove the Accept-Encoding header in the request to prevent compression by the server

when enabling compression in http profile, i understand bigip will remove Accept-Encoding header, so response from server should be uncompressed.
