Default / Fallback Persistence Profile

I have pool where the default persistence profile was set to cookie persistence and the fall back was set to source-addr. I was directed to change the default to source-addr and the fallback to the cookie persistence profile. However when doing this the fallback option was missing cookie persistence option. What is the reason behind this?

    This is the default behavior of F5. If the clients have a persistence cookie then the source address records will not be used. F5 will attempt to match clients with no cookie with a source address persistence record and then insert a cookie into the response.
