Jan 11, 2007Customized page - how to deal with wrong logon
We have setup a customized portal (on a landing uri). It works fine until
the user enters wrong credentials: the user sees then the default Firepass
page (my.logon.php3) and it doesn't come back to this customized page.
How to :
- let the user redirected to the customized login page
- let the error message (for ex. authentication failed) be displayed on
the customized page as it does on a standard logon page.
Thanks!
Regards
Alexandre

Hi~
This issue will be addressed in our upcoming 6.01 release (late February time frame). When doing customization, sometimes redirects from failures go to the root (index.php3) rather than the sandbox (my.logon.php3). We've updated the customization pages for the next release and should address your situation.
ps - Jared_Townsley_Historic F5 AccountYou might try logon.denied.inc and logout.inc in webdav.

We created the 3 files but without any success. Does your answer was refering only
to the next 6.0.1 release?

i've got 6.0.1 with HFA-03 and it still doesn't work.
I have a customized index.htm page and need to fully customize the pages for logout and wrong password. - test_test_34865

It's time to move to another product:
Have a look at :

and, for a commercial product : http://www.juniper.net - Jan_Huffman_404

We have installed 6.01 and I've looked at the Online Help (from the admin page) for documentation of the new .inc files referred to in this thread. I don't see anything new in the Index : Device Management : Customization : Global section. Where can I find documentation of the customization improvements in this release? - Bill_Hoffman_11

Does anyone know how to reorder the logon fields when requireing the end user to enter both Domain and RSA credentials. Currently the end users enter their Domain User ID first, then their RSA Passcode (PIN and OTP off of the Key Fob), and then their Domain password. Because the RSA OTP changes every 60 seconds the users tend to have a hard time getting their Domain password entered in before the RSA number on the key fob expires. You would think this would not be a big deal, but it is for the non technical users.
What we would like to be able to do is have them enter their static domain credentials first, and then enter the RSA Passcode. We are having a hard time figuring out where and how to do this.
Thanks
Bill
