Customized Dashboard for Specific Virtual Server.

Hello Techs, I looking to create a customized Dashboard for specific VS on the F5 ,where by I would be able to have a quick view of the connections onto it.

I tried to have the customization done ,but no luck to be for specific VS. Any advice's and inputs from you will be really of great help.

Greetings, not an expert at this, but these steps seem to work:

    In Dashboard
    Select Create custom view
    Select LTM windows
    Drag LTM Statistics onto canvas
Choose the virtual server by name.
    Select the blue disk.
    Choose a name and save.
    Exit design mode.
The name you choose should beavailable in the Custom views.

Sadly the Dashboard still requires flash... Any chance of a javascript one?

  • You are awesome kevin ... It worked for me and is fine with what I was been expecting. Thank you so much. Cheers.

  • Hi Kevin - A quick question .Is there a provision to get a historical view for the connections to a specific VS ,may be for few hours or a week or a month.

Greetings, I can't see any way to get that information for a single virtual server unfortunately. This command would provide that information using the same service (443) and login credentials, but you would need to run this from a command line.

    curl -sk -u admin:admin https:///mgmt/tm/ltm/virtual/~Common~/stats

Here, the BIG-IP IP is 192.168.10.10 and the virtual server is named example:

    curl -sk -u admin:admin https://192.168.10.10/mgmt/tm/ltm/virtual/~Common~example/stats
