Customising Alerts

Is it possible to customise the alerts to change the text you get?     For example I have overrided the Pool Member Availability monitor and generate alerts based on this.. but the alert is...

Hi David,

 

 

There is a possible way to customize alert messages for public monitors, such as our LTM Pool Member aggregate monitor (F5.LTM.PoolMember.Monitor.AggregateMonitor), but this is not a very straightforward process, especially for a sealed management pack, like ours. It would require some XML authoring skills and a bit of a SQL query knowledge. I will try to scope the steps out for you, and this will probably make it into a blog entry, which I will try to post in the next 24 hours, as the span of this forum would probably be limited for such an article.
