confsync failed after renew APM license

Hi All, after upgraded eval license for APM module i cannot conf sync anymore my applaiances.

 

i receive the following error: /Common/Bilanciamolo2.postevita.local did not receive the last sync successfully Recommended action: Synchronize /Common/Bilanciamolo1.postevita.local to group /Common/device_trust_group

 

but in any case i try to sync i receive always the same error and the two applaiances are in "disconnected" status.

 

no error is present in the ltm log

 

any ideas?

    start with checking the connectivity, are the units able to reach eachother?

     

    did you enable the APM license on both units? i believe for sync and failover you need to have similar modules.

    See the following Askf5 doc for configsync troubleshooting, if you haven't seen it already of course. sol13946

     

    In the past I've had to remove a bigip from the Peer List and then re-add it to resolve similar issues.

    thank u for quickly reply. As suggested by nathan, i try to delete the peer list, and add it again and now it seems work.

    unfortunately the issue is present again... after a changes on the applaiance1, i try to sync again, but again in "disconnect" status.

      have you went through the whole SOL nathan posted? for example: Verifying the required elements for ConfigSync/DSC

      before the license update... the confsync worked fine... now not

    Also check that you've removed the expired APM add-on license. I've seen this cause issues in the past if it remains on the system, even when a valid APM license is also present.

    No I just meant from the Licensing screen in the GUI. If you click on the reactivate button it takes you to a screen that lists the base regkey as well as the addon keys.

     

    If you've added some eval addon licenses then you'll want to remove the expired ones.
