Configuring a VS and Pool for HTTPS with Integrated Windows Auth Back-End
Hi,
Our developers have configured their web apps to use IWA to authenticate clients accessing their web services that sit behind F5 VSs.
The existing VS has been configured as a standard HTTPS VS on port 443 with SSL termination done on the F5 then a new HTTPS connection established through to the back-end servers.
They've discovered that when they try to connect to the web services that have IWA enabled, they receive NTLM errors.
Can someone tell me what the best approach for configuring the VS to allow HTTPS sessions with NTLM so that it load balances connections through to the back end web servers?
-Should a new VS be created for handling these types of connections? -Is there documentation showing how this is implemented?
