Config Sync error - Abnormal behavior in F5
Dear All,
Below error is repeatedly recorded in /var/ltm log file , that looks like a problem with configuration sync.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
Note : Even in peer system I could see the same as follows.
$run cm sniff-updates
['SYN'] 10.1.1.1:41971 -> 10.1.1.2:6699 ['SYN'] 10.1.1.2:6699 -> 10.1.1.1:41971 Error was found parsing this message: query_count { query_count_count_only 1 } query { devicegroup_device { devicegroup_device_devicegroup "/Common/DeviceGroupName" devicegroup_device_device "/Common/STANDBYDEVICE_HOSTNAME" } }

- solaikumar_1217Nimbostratus Just to add to above points, In GUI it shows all the devices are in sync.
- IanBEmployee Does the error only appear when you have the GUI open on the 'Device Management -> Overview' page ?
- solaikumar_1217Nimbostratus Thanks for reply lanB, This error doesn't appear in GUI. All the status shows green
- Rubenz333_13084Nimbostratus We get the same errors. Indeed only when using sniff-updates and when the GUI is open on the 'Device Management -> Overview' page. We're wondering if this anything to worry about. (Running version 11.5.1 HF 4)
- solaikumar_1217Nimbostratus Does anyone have idea about this issue ?
- JGCumulonimbus I am seeing the same message while running "run /cm sniff-updates" in tmsh as well.
- solaikumar_1217Nimbostratus Here are few suggestions which may help , but not sure this will resolve the issue . Keep the default logging level in the device. . Initiate the manual sync and try to sniff the sync updates. - JGCumulonimbus In my case, it was not the logs, but in the output of the sniffing.
- hari_126827Cirrus please see if this could be useful, sol13946: Troubleshooting ConfigSync and device service clustering issues (11.x - 12.x) and possibly checking services restart/uptime with command for "

- Nacher_323895Nimbostratus IanB made a good question - I get the same error message on the CLI but only when the GUI is open on the 'Device Management -> Overview' page. However, as far as I can see, this error is not causing any impact on the function of my cluster since I can sync devices and fail over without any issues. Any ideas?
