Forum Discussion
Hi!
Welcome to the forum! 🙂
I updated the standalone LB, on the config sync stage I received an error saying the config cannot be loaded. All our settings were gone and we tried to fix the issue but decided to boot back to the original HD location.
This is probably due to configuration errors/conflicts. When you get this the next time you'll want to enter the shell and run "tmsh load sys config". Then you'll see the problems.
If this was a major upgrade from 10 to 11 you will need to run another command:
/usr/libexec/bigpipe daol
This will show you where the loading of the configuration fails.
THis seems to be a known issue with the upgrade. I can login to the GUI using my ad credentials but not using the root user.
If you can login with your ad credentials and you're an admin you should be able to change the root user name under System -> Platform.
Is there a way of booting to the HD2 locaton and editing the bigi.conf file of the other partition to re-enable the root user and use the default username so we can boot back to the working image?
I don't understand. I thought you already rolled back?
