I have a URL passed by the client as
WWW.Xam.com
no i want this url to be www.xam.com after it reaches my big-ip will the tolower function acheive this

Here's how you convert the URI to lowercase.
when HTTP_REQUEST {
HTTP::uri [string tolower [HTTP::uri]]
