NimbostratusCitrix Storefront Feature with F5 iApp deployment
Hi!
I have configured Storefront in fornt of my Citrix Farm and I have used BIGIP with APM module to reverse it. I need this configuration to permit Windows 8 and Window 8.1 clients to use the new Citrix Receiver.
After my test I can say that I can connect and run applications, but I can't use the new Storefront Feature. This new feature allow each user to select favourite applications and place it in the main panel of the Receiver.
Someone was able to use this feature?

Hi Mauro,
Have you added a data group with the name APM_Citrix_ConfigXML? It is required to support this function - page 41 of the Citrix deployment guide on devcentral explains how to configure the data group if you have not already.

In the APM_Citrix_ConfigXML ha have already: storetest.domain.com := /Citrix/Test/PNAgent/config.xml
Have I to add: storeted.domain.com := /Citrix/TestWeb ??

No, you only need the url for the PNAgent. Please check to make sure the data group APM_Citrix_PNAgentProtocol is not present. Also, what version of BIG-IP are you running and what version of Windows Receiver is being used?
- Mauro_Longhi_11There is also APM_Citrix_PNAgentProtocol object. Have I to delete it? I'm using version 11.4.1 with Receiver 4.1.
- It is ok if the data group exists, it just can not contain the uri you are using in iRule data group APM_Citrix_ConfigXML. The data group APM_Citrix_PNAgentProtocol can be deleted if you are not using webtops to replace storefront. Their was a noted issue with the first release of 11.4 where windows 3.4 and 4.x receiver clients had problems when connecting directly. The fix was placed in HF3. If removing the uri used in data group APM_Citrix_ConfigXML from the data group APM_Citrix_PNAgentProtocol does not resolve this issue, try installing the latest HF, HF6. Are you using an iApp to configure your BIG-IP or doing it manually? If using the Citrix iApp, what release?

Into APM_Citrix_ConfigXML I have only e Sting: storetest.domain.it := /Citrix/StoreTest/PNAgent/config.xml I'm Running the versione 11.4.1 HF3 I have followed the configuration Wizard of iApp...Do I have to modify something else?
