CIFS Shares and Monitoring

I would like to ask the following question.

 

We have two CIFS share setup. One in Prod and another one in DR.

 

Am I able to use F5 to monitor the active CIFS share and direct the CIFS traffic accordingly so in this way, I don’t need to manually repoint DNS from prod cifs ip address to dr cifs ip addres in DR scenario (Prod CIFS down and DR CIFS up)?

 

If so, how would i go about doing this?
