Check the number of processes on servers

I hope you can help me in the following situation.

 

We have around 500 application servers in ~80 Virtual servers/pools and the problem is that sometimes the users use the server's IP instead of the LB IP and in this case the number of connection are not equal on all the servers in the same pool. So the question: is there a way to configure and iRule which can check the number of XY processes on the application servers located in the same pool and then forward the connection to the server which has the least connection?

 

Unfortunately I don't have too much TLC experience to complete this task.
