Changing the name of a VS

Through the web interface for the BIG-IP I don't see a way of doing this without creating another virtual server. Can this, or maybe the better question is should, this be changed through the bigip.conf file?

    it can be done in bigip.conf or by recreating the Virtual Server in a scf file using the new name then deleting the old VS.

    you can manually edit /config/bigip.conf and re-load the configuration.

    alternatively, you can delete virtual server and re-add it by pasting the new name virtual server configuration to tmsh merge command.

     tmsh load sys config from-terminal merge
