Change the load balancing algorithm

Change the load balancing algorithm into a production environment can affect existing connections?

 

I sow the solution sol13253: Configuration changes to local traffic objects do not affect existing connections https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/200/sol13253.html

 

But there is not clear if I change algorithm I will lost current connections. Anyone could help me please? Jotace

    Jotace,

     

    My thoughts on this are, the load balancing decision for an open TCP connection has already taken place so by changing the algorithm will not have any affect on existing connections.
