Certificates on F5 - Required for LCS install ?

Attempting to deploy LCS 2005 SP1 acess proxy in DMZ with a Verisign cert on the public interface. This will be behind an F5 Big-IP device. MS docs, F5 - LCS deployment guide, LCS- Pro book, all of them mention the F5 but none of them mention installing the cert on the device Our network admin is positive the cert has to be installed on it but I'd like verification. This same question applies to the private interface on the access proxy and the enterprise pool server all of which will use an internally signed cert. Can anyone assist ?
