Capture AD Attribute redirect to a pool

Hello!

I have a VIP with its pool members working perfectly. I do have a spare pool in case of failure.

Now, I am looking for a way to "detect" an AD attribute so I can redirect them (depending on the value) to the spare pool.... like upper management users/admins. This way they will have a better experience than the regular population.

I was looking using an Application Policy but I don't know how to "Capture" the AD Attribute without authentication. All PC are authenticated in the Domain.

Please advice

Thank you

J

  • You can do Windows Native Authentication from the domain joined workstations and perform and AD query based upon the user's SAMAccountname. Then, if the user falls into the particular groups you're looking for you can setup a pool select for these users.
