Jun 09, 2014Can't access F5 VE GUI admin console
I downloaded trial version of F5 Virtual Edition BIG-IP VE 11.3.0.39.0 and installed on VSXi VM. I followed the steps given on this link :

Jun 09, 2014If you have console access you should be able to log in and see if you can ping the default gateway or ping your workstation. If you can't that explains the problem.
SOL Article 13369 has info about the initial configuration steps via console. From the console type "config". That will launch the initial configuration wizard that walks you through configuring the management interface. Make sure you supply the default gateway as the default route.

Jun 10, 2014I checked with network engineer and he said that network configuration on the VSXi (VMWare) looks good. All network interfaces have been setup correctly but still I can't access default gateway from F5 VM. He thinks that it is something in the VM e.g. firewall etc inside F5 VM is blocking the traffic. Traffic is not leaving the VM. Are there any firewall settings or any network settings that could affecting this ? if yes, how to turn them OFF/ unblock them from command Console (black console) ?
