Cannot create Http and Https Application Service with xenapp desktop template
We offer http and https access to our Xenapp desktop environment. Redirect to https does not work because http clients do not have a certificate.
You cannot create 2 application services with the iApps template f5.citrix_xenapp_xendesktop.2012_06_27 because both create the same virtual server (..._xmlb_server_enum) on port 137, so the second create failes with error 01070333:3
Our workaround was to set a fake virtual ipadres for xml broker when creating the second application service. This virtual server and its pool will not be used because the first application service already offers this service.
Does anyone have a better solution? (other then not using the template)

You can just manually configure the port 80 HTTP virtual to look exactly like https one(without clientssl profiles though - and you should be set

So configure the virtual server, profile, pool en monitors manualy? Its is much easier to create them with the template and not use the second xml broker virtual server (or delete it)
- I was implying that you can crate virtual server on port 80, and you can associate the same objects that are associated with 443 virtual with it - so you would be creating just one object manually and reusing all other objects(profile/monitors/pools, etc.)
