Aug 07, 2008Thanks. I updated to 0.8.7 (Using CactiEZ 0.4) and the graphs are all working now.
To answer a previous question about the DNS rates being graphed as 0.2 and 0.3/second. That's an artifact of the averaging. The default RRD's are set to take an average hit rate per second over a 5 minute period. So unless you're hitting the DNS server with at least 300 queries, you'll get an average of < 1.0.
You can alter the RRD settings in the data templates if you like... However you may been to alter the polling, and I'm not sure how you'd get it down to 60 seconds as the poller only runs once a minute anyway in cacti, so you'll wind up with missing data (Trying to poll at the same rate as your aggregation in rrd's always ends up missing data. I like to poll at about 2-3x the rate of the aggregate time).
Those templates look good BTW... I'm going to see if I can come up with some combined graphs. e.g. graphing connection rate and total connections on the same graph, separating out SSL hit rates by version and SSL hit rates by VS...
