Bring back the old forums!
Does anyone really like this new "forums/Question" tool? I can't find anything. I click on a tag and it brings back questions that don't have that tag. It is just a jumbled mess of questions.

- usually google on site:devcentral.f5.com works well enough to find something.

Hi Mark! Yes, I do really like the new tool. It's an amazing improvement over the forum model we had in place. Previously, we had to drop down into each group to get to a forum to even determine if there were questions in there to address. Now, everything is all together and that makes it way easier. However, there's always room for improvement.
If you (and anyone else reading this post) don't mind providing more detailed feedback on what you do and don't like about Q&A, that will help us as we plan fixes/enhancements going forward.
One thing that is different about the new tool but hasn't yet been fully adopted by the community is the comment/answer expectations. The idea is that you comment on a question until you have enough information to answer, then you answer. Then people comment on answers, which might lead you to edit your answer instead of posting a new answer. Currently, most people use Q&A like a forum, so following a "thread" is somewhat difficult in those situations. We need to do a better job of education on that front.

I'm sorry I truly can't find anything. Its hard to explain, I simply want to see all posts on GTM or iRules, there is just no easy way to browse these items.
It is extremely frustrating at times you click on a topic and you get the last x entries and that is it. Honestly, it's so useless I don't even bother anymore.
I guess I'm just missing it. I click on a tag like GTM and I will get a list of entries some of which don't have the GTM tag. I want a simple forum where I can browse all the entries for a topic.
I would like to be able to easily browse examples of iRules, APM, GTM, etc that have been discussed to learn and see what others have done. How do I do that?
I've stop even trying since the system was converted. It's completely useless.

Actually I can't find an example now because I can't even find the tags now. If I want to browse everything posted about iRules or APM or GTM how do I do that? I guess I'd you have a specific question this is a good option but if you are just wanting to learn I can't see how it is even worth the effort. - Mark_Curole

Ok, I found a good example, so I was browsing the unanswered questions and clicked on the "global traffic manager" tag on the first one I found. After about 16 posts topics start showing up that do not have the GTM tag If you click on the topic then you see that it does have the tag, the results view doesn't always show all the tags for a post. It is extremely confusing and makes me doubt that the system is working properly. I just find this to be one of the most unintuitive user forums I've seen in a long time. The old forums were simple, if you wanted to find out about iRules you just clicked on the iRules forum and browsed.
