BIG-IP Virtual Appliance Extremely Slow performance

I'm currently evaluating BIG-IP VE edition in my lab. Compare with the A10 VE, the performance is very poor. Both virtual appliances are installed on the same ESX host, using the same NIC card and going to the same backend HTTP server (with some flash, JPG, PNG and CSS files). Basically the web server host a copy of the following web site: www.peplink.com Performance Example 1 (http://www.peplink.com/technology/4g3g-modem-support): BIG-IP : 12 seconds A 10 : 1,23 seconds

 

Performance Example 2 (http://www.peplink.com/technology/speedfusion-4g3g-bonding/) BIG-IP : 15,29 seconds A 10 : 0,838 seconds

 

PS: I have also other ADC (or WAF) solutions in the lab (Citrix VPX and Beeware) and for all of them performance are good.

 

What could be the problem ?
