Dears,
I have the pools attached to a VS by Irule.
the VS and pools monitor status are unknown, the request is handle successfully.
My question:
why the monitor status of VS and all pools are unknown?
is mandatory for making the monitor active and green, attach the pool in the default field of pool member in VS?
Second question:
If I show the pool name inside the cookie, how can I hide it?

VS and pool are showing unknown because there is not health monitor assigned to it. Health monitor periodically checks the availability of the servers and though it's not mandatory it's advisable to use it so that if server is unavailable monitor will detect it and make the server down and not sending traffic there until it recovers.
For not showing pool name, you can create HTTP profile and encrypt the cookie which will encrypt the cookie values.

Thanks for reply, I double checked the pool health monitor, it attached to the pools, the pools status is green, but its VS is unknown.
