you would think the install program would be smart enough and not allow you to downgrade. i'm running into the same problem 9.3.1 -> 9.2.3 and looking for solutions to unbricking my box. sending back to the vendor is not an option for me.

 

 

edit: the only way i found to bring it back alive is to pxe server the install.
