BIG-IP Login Issue (Chrome?) - The username or password is not correct. Please try again.

We are experiencing an issue that appears to only occur in Chrome.

 

These are the steps that I perform that result in the "The username or password is not correct. Please try again." error message.

 

1) Login to our portal

2) Logout of the portal

3) Close Chrome

4) Reopen Chrome

5) Browse to the portal login page. At this point the user immediately sees the error that says "The username or password is not correct. Please try again."

6) If I then attempt to login again I get a different error message "Your session could not be established. Access was denied by the access policy. This may be due to a failure to meet access policy requirements". At this point the URL in the browser shows domain.com/my.policy

7) If I remove my.policy from the URL I can successfully login.

 

When I check the session logs I can see the failed login attempt, and in each instance "<br/>" has been inserted at the start of the username.

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction to resolve this issue?
