BIG IP Config Migration to another model

I need to migrate complete configure from one hardware model to another hardware model. Old device is working in HA (A-P).

 

Need step by step guide.

 

referred so many document which is publicly available but no luck.

    2 ways are possible

     

    I migrated a few month ago one 3600er cluster and one 3900er cluster to 5050 each.

     

    tmsh load /sys ucs no-license -no-platform-check the last option is the important one here.

     

    afterwards the membermigration remove the standby member add the new one to the cluster (attention, only config sync, no session mirroring) Switchover in a maintenance window if not yet scheduled same procedure for the other old node.

     

    otherway is to bring both up and running in the network and just switch the interfaces Old Cluster shutdown all TMM interfaces New Cluster enable all TMM interfaces (attention here: ~5min ARP timeout in switched Datacentre Networks)

     

    just to note. my Knowledge is just related to LTM/ASM ones. Unfortunately, I had no other modules productive yet :(
