Big-IP as XML/SOAP to ICAP gateway

Hi folks,

We wanted to use Big-IP as a XML/SOAP to ICAP conversion gateway. We know that Big-IP supports XML/SOAP and ICAP, but the question is, can Big-IP put the files directly into ICAP without encoding back to XML/SOAP? That way, the ICAP sever does not have to deal with XML/SOAP.

Found the exact use case captured here, but it is not clear if the files going on ICAP are XML/SOAP encoded-
