Does the 8 fiber ports available in 7200v-ssl support 1Gig sfp's. If it supports, will a Cisco GLC-SX-MM sfp work in it, or we need to buy sfp specific from F5?

Cirrostratusyou're correct, my apologies.. SFP are compatible with SFP+. F5 platform specs list for the 7200.
Optional 1 Gbps Fiber or Copper Ports = 8
