Big IP 11.4.1 VE in VMare not seeing the VLAN or mac address on the cisco switch

Hi i am using the ova file for big Ip VE 11.4.1 in VMWARE, and my issue is i have assigned a Vlan to first interface in VMWare is not seeing on the cisco switch. my management vlan is working fine as i can connect to the box. I have check the mac address on the console in vmware and matched it in my VE, but i cant ping it. i did a tcpdump and can see that ARP is not working and can see on the switch that the MAC address is not there

has anyone had this kind of issue before if there is a way around it
