Best Practices for Configuring a HA from a Production StandAlone F5

Hello F5 Peeps,

 

I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions and/or best practices on how to add and F5 box to a stand alone F5 in production to make it an HA pair.

    Hi Erika

     

    I did a new build a month ago for a client where their one virtual appliance died, I redeployed the vm migrated the license via f5 tac. Build the base configuration including the network vlan's self ip's etc...Configured the device group and then synced the configuration from the existing appliance to the new one.

     

    That was it. I tried the the scf route but had issues it is a option as well.
