backup from production and restore in the lab

I have two GTMs each running 10.2. One is in production and other is in the test lab.   The lab and production networks are not connected.     The set of users in the lproduction is different...

Yes, you can use the UCS file, but it will load only the LTM module config. You may have to winscp the wideip.conf file under /config/gtm directory from prod to your test appliance for the GTM config.
