AWS: Upgrade BIG-IP PAYG to BYOL?

I plan to deploy the following on AWS:

 

  • F5 BIG-IP Virtual Edition - BEST (PAYG)

If I deploy a PAYG appliance, is it possible to upgrade that existing appliance into a BYOL? If not, what would be the best way to do so?

 

Also, if I choose a 25Mbps model, can I upgrade the existing appliance to a 200Mbps model?

    Hi,

     

    Upgrading is not possible (25 Mbps to 200 Mbps), you have to redeploy your VE. And in the proces, you can change your license type to BYOL. (I believe for changing the license type, you need to redeploy the VE).
