AVR with Splunk

I have setup the Analytic iApp to send logs over to splunk. However, I am wondering if I need to setup the analytic profile for each Virtual Server for analytic to send detail information to splunk? Also, I need some help defining the REGEX application mapping. From a lab example of "(.* )_HTTP[S]*_VS" ,does this mean it will only match "Virtual Server" names with the HTTP_VS or HTTPS_VS in the name?
