Automated client access "ms-office"

If securing sharepoint server, you may allow this violation!

 

This user agent is when an office app try to access a document.

 

ASM has signature for well known non-browser user agents and raise automated client access violation.

 

The administrator's role is to allow this user agent if legitimate.

 

so you have to wonder Is there any Office application (like Word, Excel, Powerpoint) on mobile, tablet or PC which can send requests to the web site?
