If we own APM, is there any reason why I use proxypass irule vs APM portal access?
Portal access seems more supported / developed / standard method for reverse web proxy to end use...

Portal access is an easy way to publish apps. It's more efficient as it rewrite javascript, css and html content. But to avoid consuming CCU, the best way is to simply do Web Access Management and when possible forget ProxyPass tricks. Don't forget that the ProxyPass irule is from the community and As far as I know is not officially supported by F5 support team.
F5Burg_193522Thanks for your reply! Sorry, what do you mean with "web access management" ? Are you saying that's an access profile on a VIP? Why ever use portal access then?
