APM External Logon Page - Authentication and Attributes

I haven't found anything related to this, so if I've overlooked something you can point me to, I'd appreciate it.

 

 

I'm wondering if I can use APM to send users to an external login page and have it return more than just authentication. Can I get authentication back, but also have additional variables returned to the post_url and have them stored as session variables that can later be used (in an iRule) for authentication purposes.

 

 

I envision this working similar to the way that the AD auth and AD query predefined actions work, returning both the authentication results along with query results.
